This approach provides a more scalable way to account for the interactions between multiple Web services. BizTalk also provides important services, such as data transformation and a business rules engine, that can help significantly when interacting with disparate Web services or legacy systems and in complex business scenarios. In addition, this approach provides important availability and reliability guarantees, which help to ensure consistency between multiple services.
